Hello, my name’s Kristen and I’m from Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I went to Georgia State University and my hobbies are playing piano, learning languages and meditating. I have studied 8 languages: Bahasa Indonesia, Latin, Portuguese, French, basic Spanish, Slovak, Farshi, American Sign Language.

What I really like from Indonesia are warm people, riding Ojek, warm weather and the language. WSI staff is professional and the company is organized and professional. The students are involved, respectful, friendly and overall incredible.

I used to be a swimming instructor. I have TEFL certificate and I taught English for 2 years in China and 1 year in Vietnam. My hobbies are travelling, swimming, shopping, reading, art, hanging out with friends. I love Indonesia because of the diversity of the people, culture & religions, the food, all of the beautiful places you can travel to. Also, everyone here is very friendly and enthusiastic.

Hi, my name’s Alex Leung I come from London, England and I attended The Nottingham Trent University, UK to earn my BA degree. My hobbies are reading and travelling. One unique thing about me is that I can speak a dying language - Hakka which is a language spoken only by old generations in outside Hong Kong. The people here in Indonesia are very friendly, I enjoy learning new culture and I love the food and the weather. Moreover, WSI students are very fun to teach, very outgoing and they are very diligent.

After graduating, I moved to Russia and worked for the U.S. government teaching English and working on community development programs. After that I moved to Indonesia to teach math and business English before Joining WSI in 2007. Half my time is spent teaching and half travelling!

Hello, I’m Patrick. I’m an American from Tennessee, where I also attended Union University.

I have been teaching English for nine years and have spent six of those years here in Jakarta. I love the cultural diversity in Indonesia, every day is an adventure – but that might be because I tackle the streets of Jakarta on my 1977 Vespa. I enjoy reading, photography, travel and diving in my spare time.

Hello, my name is Amy, and I am a Academic Coordinator at Wall Street Institute. I'm a small-town American girl, from the state of Michigan, known for its thousands of lakes and rivers.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in English, knowing that I wanted to be an English teacher. After graduating, I volunteered in the Peace Corps, a U.S. Government program established to promote world peace and friendship. I served for 2 years in the country of Azerbaijan, teaching English and developing libraries.

Village life was great, but I was ready for a faster-paced life, so I moved to the exciting city of Seoul, Korea, where I taught English to adults. During my 2 years in Korea, I took a short vacation to Bali, and instantly new that Indonesia would be the next country for me! Now, I am here at WSI!

If you see me out and about in Indonesia, I will probably be walking around, looking for a cool, new restaurant or cafe to try. And you can bet that I will have a book in my bag, because I love reading. I'm also into scuba diving, hiking, and live music. Hope to see you around!

Hi, my name’s Rohan and I’m from New Jersey, USA. I earned my BA from Boston College and MA from Stanford University. I also taught English in Papua on a Fulbright Program at a Junior high school there.

I like eating fine cuisine and love reading all kinds of books, especially non-fiction. Anything interesting on brain science, economics, or history is right up my alley. I'm a black belt in Karate and wrote a book on Public Speaking.

Travelling is another hobby of mine. I've been to 6 of 7 continents - only Antarctica to go! I'm a huge fan of all the wonderful places to visit as well, including the beaches of the Gili Islands, the rain forests of Papua and the mountains of Java. Our work environment at WSI is also amazing! Glass walls, bright colors, sophisticated design - I love coming to work every day as the Service manager of such a great place.

Originally from Scotland, my teaching profession began as a volunteer tutor in Scotland then took a giant leap to Thailand. I taught English in Bangkok for two years and have been living and teaching in Indonesia for three years.

Hi, my name is Todd, and I am an American teacher at Wall Street Institute. I am from the North Star state of Minnesota, which is also known as the land of 10,000 lakes. After graduating with a Master's degree in Education Counseling from the University of Wisconsin, I began a career in higher education as a Freshman Academic Advisor and a Residential Hall Director. I started at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and then continued at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.

Desiring to travel and to broaden my life and work experience, I decided to teach English overseas. I chose Japan, which has always intrigued me. After working at several Japanese universities in Tokyo, I moved to Taiwan to help start an English language school in Taipei. It was in Taiwan that I started writing my first book, which I hope to publish next year. Other hobbies of mine include singing (I was a concert soloist in college), listening to music, reading, and traveling.
